ASD SEN Teachers

September Start

An Outstanding Special Needs School in Southwark is recruiting X2 experienced SEN Teachers to start in September 2021. Both positions are full-time for the full academic year, via the agency.

The school is located across 2 sites, catering for 200 pupils aged 4-19 years old, with EHCPs for ASD and Aspergers Syndrome. As well as offering students an engaging curriculum, they also work hard to develop communication and social skills. The school is in a state-of-the-art building, offering a wealth of resources to both students and pupils.

Shortlisted candidates must have proven experience in the UK, ideally in a SEN setting, however the school are open to meeting with mainstream teachers, who have an interest in SEN. Classes will consist of 4-6 students of varying abilities, therefore it is imperative you are confident planning inclusive, individualised lessons. They are looking for dynamic teachers, who can teach a range of subjects. You will also be responsible for carrying out assessments and reporting progress to SLT.

As a high achieving school, they are keen to employ staff who are dedicated, vibrant and have a real passion for SEN.
