The school supports children and young people with an autism spectrum disorder. The children are offered an individualised curriculum, alongside onsite therapy sessions and a range of key life skills and learning opportunities led by the dedicated teams allowing them to thrive and achieve their full potential.

Your role would include:
-Working 1 to 1 with pupils in a small class setting, to provide behavioural based instructions for pupils to meet their full potential
-Contributing to the production, organisation and maintenance of individualised teaching materials
-Support pupils with their social and emotional development through interaction and engagement
-Encourage and assist pupils to maintain acceptable levels of personal and environmental hygiene
-Assist in extra-curricular and off-site activities with pupils during school hours
-Supervising indoor/outdoor playtime for all pupils
Skills and capabilities:
-Minimum Grade "C" or equivalent, in English Language & Maths
-Experience of working with children and/or young adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
-An understanding and personal commitment to safeguarding
-Able to perform tasks of a physical nature
-A positive and resilient attitude
-Early Years qualified is desirable
-Own means of transport, due to location
