Start: September 2021
£120 - £180 per day (You will be paid to scale)
GSL Education is currently looking to appoint an exceptional KS2 Teacher for an SEMH School in Worcestershire to start in September 2021. The school is expanding quickly and are looking for Full-Time Permanent Staffing.
As an Primary SEMH Teacher, you will be expected to develop a good rapport with children and young people in order to support them effectively with their learning. You will need to have an excellent understanding of SEMH, be dynamic and proactive and have strong behaviour management skills. Your role will involve teaching children and ensuring that they have a good understanding of the subject matter before the lesson finishes. You will also need to have good Maths and English skills and be able to tutor children through various subject matter.

The ideal candidate must:

Have sound knowledge and experience in working with children who present with SEMH difficulties
Must be experienced Teaching in a specialist environment
Must have experience teaching children with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, PDA and children from LAC backgrounds
Have experience working with KS2 pupils
Have proven skills in working as part of a team
Be dynamic and proactive and have strong behaviour management skills
Be a qualified Teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B.Ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service
