Description
We're looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team, working to design, deploy and maintain our Cloud infrastructure and storage platform.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Focusing on Yoti's core production systems, build and evolve our server infrastructure from a very early phase.
  • Design and implement the platform and management infrastructure, with an emphasis on security, resource isolation, deployment automation, redundancy and high-availability.
  • Assist with daily operations of our storage solutions.
  • Work on our Openstack and Kubernetes deployments and its continuous improvement.
  • Deployments will focus on automation and mass orchestration, with minimal manual intervention, to allow for scalability, simplicity of deployment and rapid disaster recovery.
Requirements
  • Self-motivation, a sense of urgency and a good working attitude are a must to be successful in this environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
  • Strong Linux knowledge
  • Experience with Openstack and AWS
  • Strong knowledge of Ceph Storage
  • Experience with automation tools like Juju, Salt, Puppet or Ansible
  • Scripting experience with Python and Bash
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Cloudformation
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containers
  • Willing to rack hardware and travel to datacentres
  • Working knowledge of storage systems such as iSCSI, Gluster, NFS, LVM, RAID
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and tools such as Qemu/Kvm, Libvirt, LXC, LXD, ESXi
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack
  • Knowledge of L2 and L3 networks
  • Experience with DNS technologies such as Bind, CoreDNS, Dnsmasq
  • Experience with high availability and load balancing tools such as Keepalived, Haproxy, Nginx
  • Knowledge of Git version control system, and how to use them effectively (proper commit messages, code review)
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (Build, Test, Deploy and Maintain)
  • Willing to be on an after-hours on-call rota
