Humres Engineers are urgently seeking Installation Engineer - High Quality Intruder Detection, Access Control and CCTV Surveillance Systems etc. for permanent position focused on work in East of England.

This is a great opportunity to join a team of engineers working on high profile and complex projects in St Albans and surrounding area. You can experience new technology, work with highly skilled professionals and secure some terrific project experience on a full time.

Our sales service team provides the highest quality maintenance, monitoring and 24 hour technical support. Accredited by SSAIB, UKAS and BAFE, amongst other leading industry and Government mandated standards.

About the Role

Carry out installation and commissioning of electronic security systems

Carry out maintenance and repairs if required

To provide reliable, quality support to our customers at all times

To have a professional telephone and face to face manor

Assist customers and regional team with technical issues either on the phone or face to face

Have a flexible approach to working hours when required

Provide assistance and training to other team members as required

Be included on the "on call rota"

A flexible approach to working hours. Out of hours working will be required at times.

Provide technical assistance and provide piece of mind for field engineers.

About the Candidate

Must have a high level of experience of our industry.

Excellent technical knowledge of fire & security systems.

Have a systematic/logical approach to tasks & problems.

Good service and fault finding ability

Prompt and consistent time keeping

Ensure all tasks are carried out quickly & efficiently.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Be presentable in person and in vehicle and tools

Be aware of and responsible for the equipment required to complete the necessary works including emergency van stock.

Understand the need for precise completion of paperwork records of jobs and full use of PDA device.

Willing and able to work well with a team as well as individually, with minimum supervision.

Good time management and communication skills - A must.

Friendly and "easy going relaxed manner" although committed and dedicated to complete the tasks required.
