Trainee Machinist, Dorset, £10.50 per hour

You're eager to learn a new skill or are keen to develop your existing skills within in an Engineering environment? You can demonstrate a strong work ethic and are looking to work for a company that rewards hard work and loyalty?

We are recruiting for an entry level / trainee metal worker to join a market leading company based in the Dorset area. If you have a keen interest in engineering and enjoy working in a methodical / process driven role then this could be a great opportunity for you! The most important attribute is the ability to show a dedicated attitude and a hunger to learn.

As a Trainee you'll become an integral part of the production process. Being trained in the use of operating and maintaining Machines, as well as setting up the CNC machines.

What we're looking for from applicants include:

Good numerical skills
Basic understanding of an engineering environment
Prior experience in the use of hand tools (even if as a hobby)
Potentially some manufacturing experience

The starting salary is competitive and there are also opportunities for overtime.
