1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, Slough, September 2021

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and expanding mainstream schools based in Slough.

The school are seeking a versatile experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September and take on the role of supporting a child 1-1 with ASD. You would work under the direction of the SENCO to help this child access their learning and make progress against their targets.

The successful applicants will have:

Experience working with children with SEN
Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/careers
Excellent literacy, numeracy & ICT skills
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate.TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold an enhanced child, child & adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
