This position will start off as a long term temporary contract which could transition into a permanent role upon successful application.
Role: Lead MCA Governance Lawyer
Contract Length: Temporary contract which could transition to a permanent role
Location: West Yorkshire
Develop and maintain a robust and effective governance framework for the authority
Provide high quality legal and procedural advice at all stages of the Authority's decision making
Manage a team of 2 people and assist them with the Governance caseloads as well as managing your ownThe Person:
Ideally someone with 5 years of PQE in Governance law
Someone who has worked for a Local Authority
Ideally someone who has prior experience of managing a team of solicitorsBenefits:
