Payroll Analyst

Colchester

Full Time, Monday to Friday

Temporary (6 months initially)

1-2 days per week in office

£20 per hour, depending on experience

Tate are currently working with an International British publishing, business intelligence, and exhibitions group to recruit a Payroll Analyst.

This role requires the successful candidate to temporarily work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Payroll Manager during the Dubai payroll migration, this will include reviewing data, reconciling payroll transactions etc
Administer the Oracle/SAP to IHCM interface files in a timely manner, dealing with any rejected files
Carry out monthly payroll checks ensuring the UK payroll is accurately processed before final transmission
Review monthly benefit files and deal with any import rejections whilst carrying thorough checks against payslips
Resolve payroll transaction queries raised by the payroll bureau
Review monthly pay run and net pay values and provide analysis of any variances
Ensure all payrolls are correctly presented for sign off and that bacs submission documentation is forwarded to the payroll approver within agreed timescales
To provide system administration support e.g. setting up users, maintaining security profiles, resetting passwords as required
Keep up to date with all current payroll statutory legislation and provide advice to the business on HMRC payroll related enquiries
Ensure compliance with the General Data Processing Requirements (GDPR) when dealing with payroll data and recordsWhat do you need to succeed?

Advanced excel skills (V-lookup, merging data, data analysis etc)- key to this position
Decision maker
Able to work independently
Strong payroll background - CIPP qualified (desirable)
Team player with a flexible approach
Excellent relationship management skills; ideally with previous vendor management experience
Strong communication and negotiation skills
ADP experience an advantage (ADP iHCM)
