To carry out goods inwards inspections aligned with the requirement of the business and in alignment with ISO 9001.
To be accountable for the stores delivery and despatch areas. Controlling and auditing the inventory of stored components and assemblies.
To identify issues with the current working process and recommend progressive change.
Supply the bays with A consistent level of performance as required by the Service Engineers / Planning Engineers / Leading Hands
To cover for the Quality Assurance Technician during periods of both planned and un-planned absence
Ensure that all final inspection documents are correct prior being taken from the relevant bays.
Control and improve the SAP and associated databases currently utilised within the department, for traceability / trending, to ensure compliance to departmental processes and procedures
Identify opportunities to make financial savings within the process, through reduction in operating costs or improved reliability/efficiency
Carries out all activities as detailed in the Safety Annual Plan.
Adheres to all appropriate Health and Safety standards relevant to their job.
Challenge & reports near misses, unsafe conditions and behaviours witnessed within the CES Workshop.
Risks assess methods of working, potential impact of non-standard operations.
The jobholder must have a strong management and analytical skills. They will have proven business acumen and have a successful track record in developing structured management processes and achieving challenging personal and department goals and objectives. Experience of managing within a stores/warehouse environment would be an advantage
