Here you'll be part of a small team processing a high - volume weekly payroll so if you answered yes to all the above this could be the right environment for you.

Yes, processing a weekly payroll into the thousands is very deadline driven but the team get stuck in and support each other. Due to growth this is a new role and the current team have been with the business 10 plus years!

A day to day will typically include;

* Processing new starters

* Inputting timesheets and resolving any related issues

* Sending out payslips

* Calculating holiday pay and statutory payments

* Updating tax codes and RTI submissions

As a wider business they're always looking at ways to improve the way they work. In payroll specifically projects are about the get kick started to upgrade their systems for automation and speed.

Background & experience wise you can be one of the 2;

"Experienced" ideally with weekly payroll but it's not essential. You'll be joining the 2 other members of the team who you'll support, sharing the responsibility of the full end to end process.

"Data Administrator" - if your background is more towards admin, or you might have some exposure to timesheet inputting etc already then here you'll be able to expand on that over time learning more of the payroll process.

Most importantly you'll be a supportive team player & can work independently (they are currently working from home but have plans to return to the office part time very shortly)


* If experienced in payroll - weekly payroll processing would beneficial

* Confident with high volume data inputting

* Happy to commute into a city centre location at least a few days a week
