DevOps Engineer - Remote (UK based)

I have an exciting opportunity for an Dev Ops Engineer to join an established business based near Exeter. We are looking for an experienced Dev Ops Engineer with skills including AWS and Terraform to take responsibility for all DevOps aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, projects for end clients, whilst ensuring adherences to best practice processes and tooling.

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer you will be helping with driving our capacity for handling operational issues while working with the Head of Technology Operations. You will advise the team of developers on the processes that will make our codebase more scalable, reliable and testable.

You will also research and develop processes required to improve deployment and testing. You will also be key in ensuring that we have the infrastructure to facilitate the rapid growth of the business.

In addition to helping create and maintain systems within this infrastructure, you will:

Assist with troubleshooting production issues through to resolution ensuring that measures are put in place where possible to stop re-occurrence.
Support and provide in-depth code reviews to improve the quality of present developments and future developments.
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure realistic timelines are set for the completion of projects.

Skills should include:

Extensive AWS infrastructure experience
Networking Knowledge - Routers, Switches, Firewalls

This role offers fully remote working and interviews will be carried out via Microsoft Teams.
