Private Client Secretary. A highly respected, busy law firm with an established client base are currently seeking a Private Client Secretary to join their friendly, supportive and professional firm, based in Canterbury.

The successful Private Client Secretary will support two highly experienced Private Client Solicitors with their case load. The case load includes:
  • Wills
  • Probate
  • Trust
  • Tax
  • Estate planning
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney

The successful Private Client Secretary will be responsible for duties such as (but not limited to):
  • Opening and closing files
  • Updating clients
  • Digital dictation
  • Producing and editing legal documents
  • Providing quotations
  • Liaising with Accounts team to raise invoices

The successful Private Client Secretary will offer the following skill set/background:
  • Minimum of 12 months experience as a private client secretary, with solid admin/secretarial experience
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Be presentable
  • Be accountable and take responsibility
  • Offer excellent communication skills - written, verbal and face to face
  • Willingness to learn
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • The ability to remain calm when under pressure
  • Be a keen team player
