Job Title: Procurement Category Manager - IT & Telecoms

Sector: Consumer Goods

Location: West London

Salary & Package: £55,000 - £62,000 + bonus + additional benefits

Sea Global are currently partnering with a global FMCG major in London. They have continued to grow over the past year, despite the tough climate. As a result of this amazing growth and ambitious plans, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic IT Category Manager to join their best-in class function.

This organisation are known for their collaborative environment and have countless success stories in their procurement function and have amazing core values running through the organisation. This role reports into the Category Lead and you will have full ownership for of the IT & Telecoms categories.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Cradle to grave sourcing, including identifying business needs, supplier development and ongoing negotiation strategies
  • Work closely with stakeholders at all levels across the business, including Heads of Departments, Directors and C-Level
  • Deliver cost management, provide forecasted budgets, and deliver Risk Management strategies
  • Manage the full IT Category, which includes a number a key sub-category areas: Software, Telco, Hardware & Services
  • Run RFPs/RFIs, negotiation and post contract management

Experience & Requirements
  • Experience of managing a key categories listed above, with a global, complex organisation
  • Full end to end sourcing experience, including category strategy and SRM
  • Will be resilient, a strategic thinker and will feel comfortable with managing stakeholders at levels
  • Ideally will have experience of working within fast paced, high volume industry, such as; FMCG, Retail or F&B
