A client school in Enfield requires an LSA to support primary-aged pupils who present with ASD and complex needs, for a September 2021 start.
The role is full-time (8:30am - 3:30pm
) temporary position for one term, which may lead to longer term and ultimately a permanent position.
Salary range: £75 - £80
per day (inclusive of Holiday Pay)
The ideal candidate will come from an educational setting or may be a graduate who would like to further a career in teaching. Previous experience of working with children with autism would be advantageous but not essential.
- Willingness to meet pupils' primary care needs
- Be calm under pressure
- Be willing to be trained in a positive handling course
- Experience working in a SEND setting is beneficial but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Being a good team player is essential for the health and safety of all stakeholders
