New contract job for an experienced Project Coordinator with a Telecoms or Technical M&E industry background
Experienced Project Coordinator with a background in Telecoms or Technical / M&E Industry required to help major telecommunications client in a busy and thriving PMO environment.
Our client is one of the UK's leading names in the telecommunications sector with sites based around the UK. This role will allow you to work from home (in the UK) with a proviso that some COVID safe on site visits may be required post pandemic.
What you will be doing
The successful candidate will use the Microsoft Office portfolio and the client's own bespoke tools to process their daily duties and when necessary support their team members with their workload. Jointly coordinating the Space, Power and Network Infrastructure Application process for Network equipment install projects into technical sites. Typical activities will include processing quotes, PO's, arranging and agreeing installation dates, confirming successful installs with external contractors, processing completion packs and overseeing the GRN/Site Audit process.
What they are looking for
The successful candidate will have previously worked in the Telecommunications, IT, Datacenter or Electrical Engineering industry. You will have proven experience of project or programme coordination or support roles. Experienced with Database Management. Be a confident verbal communicator. Be able to work with minimal supervision and have good office administration skills. Experience working on Microsoft Office applications i.e. Visio and Excel. Ability to meet deadlines. Flexible and proactive approach to your work. Have strong administration skills, Microsoft office package, willingness to be trained on bespoke systems, be flexible with working hours, ideally someone process orientated. Personable and good working with people at all levels
What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available. The role has been determined as Inside IR35 and is offered on a 6 month initial contract with scope for extension. The day rate will be a maximum of £165 per day via an approved Umbrella company.
