Role Overview

CPS Group UK are delighted to be seeking an experienced Technical Systems Analyst with a track record in the Broadcast/Media Servicing industry, with a minimum 3 years' experience performing business/systems analysis covering IT & Broadcast domains.

The purpose of the role is to capture, review and document technical requirements and specifications to be used by development teams to deliver changes to interfaces and systems across systems within the linear Broadcast workflows.

Role Responsibilities

*Creation of technical specifications to be used for development and enhancement of system integrations
*Demonstrates different methods for eliciting and capturing requirements e.g. process flow, sequence diagrams, entity diagrams etc.
*Compose clear and concise requirements and acceptance criteria by conducting interviews, workflow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions using core analyst capabilities of elicitation, visualization, and facilitation
*Make recommendations for efficiently fulfilling business need/objectives, system or business process improvements
*Solid understanding of technology, best practice and concepts used to connect and support systems e.g. XSD, XML
*Data Analysis and strong problem-solving skills
*Provide hands on support with technical live support activities where appropriate

Candidate Specification

*Experience in the Media industry, broadcast/media servicing
*Experience or solid appreciation of how to successfully work as an analyst in distributed, cross-functional technical team project team
*Minimum 3 years' experience performing business/systems analysis covering IT domains
*Minimum 2 years' experience of Agile Methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
*Experienced at working with third party suppliers and across time zones and cultures
*Good technical understanding of how solutions are constructed
*Able to articulate technical pieces of work to non-technical personnel
*Comfortable pushing back or challenging status quo to ensure good business solutions
*Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
