This is a rare opportunity for a highly talented Internal Communications Manager to join the creative forward-thinking marketing and communications team a global law firm to manage the firm's internal communications strategy and channels.

With a positive ideas-driven mentality, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing the firm's approach to informing and engaging staff. The Internal Communications Manager will work closely with the firm's leadership, the Head of Marketing & Communications, the PR Manager, HR and the international business development community to plan and deliver a programme of engaging print, digital and visual communications with the aim of helping the firm's people understand, engage with and support the firm's strategy and purpose and know what part they need to play. The successful applicant will also be charged with the role of brand ambassador for the firm, ensuring brand consistency is delivered across all channels. This is a broad role, so you will need to have the confidence and influencing skills to challenge stakeholders and bring new ideas. You will be happy to get involved with the detail, working with and managing the Internal Communications Executive, helping them learn, progress and deliver to the best of their abilities, and be a confident project manager leading the delivery of key firm-wide communications projects including intranet, yammer, business plan, brand purpose, people engagement programmes and strategic priorities set in the business plan.

You will need to be a graduate or equivalent and it is important that you come from a professional services environment, most likely the legal sector, with a proven track record of delivering and managing multi-channel campaigns from concept to execution and up to date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in internal communications and engagement practice and measurement. Organised, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, the Internal Communications Manager will possess an adaptable team working style and will be confident in communicating and presenting key messages and resilient, calm and positive under pressure and when dealing with challenge.
