RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with an independent family run jewellers based in Perth in their search for a Jewellery Sales Assistant.

As a Jewellery Sales Assistant, you'll be tasked with:

Meeting and greeting customers

Fully understanding customer requirements and attending to customer needs

To deliver an exceptional customer experience at all times and going the extra mile

Interacting with the general public on a day to day basis and encouraging them to visit the store

Being proactive in generating new business

Up-selling the business and the product ranges

Representing the business in a professional manner

Working individually and as a part of a strong team support

Maintaining and caring for stock

Dressing windows and displays

Maintaining good housekeeping standards in the shop environment

Other general duties: booking items for repair, data entry, opening deliveries, calculating repair estimates

Skills and Experience

Experience in selling jewellery or luxury products

Excellent communication skills

Good PC Literacy and a keen eye for detail

A friendly outgoing character with the confidence to speak to customers

Meticulous attention to detail

Excellent people skills and resilience

Consultative in your approach

Be flexible and able to work Saturdays, 5 days out of 7

Previous experience in a sales/retail environment would be advantageous
