Paralegal - Commercial Property

Working for an award winning Law firm in Brighton you will be part of a successful commercial property team. With a growing client base you will never be bored in this role. The company offers progression and the opportunity of training contracts for the right candidate. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to hit the ground running, you will have commercial property experience and be able to put this into practice straight away.

Duties and responsibilities

* File creation and client correspondence;

* Attending meetings and taking notes;

* Obtaining title documents;

* Submitting searches;

* Preparing Stamp Duty forms;

* Preparing completion statements and invoices;

* Preparing all necessary accounts forms

*Preparing Land Registry applications and dealing with requisitions;

* Producing first drafts of contracts, transfer deeds and leases (with fee earner guidance);

* Producing replies to Commercial Property Standard Enquiries;

* Dealing with pre‐completion requisitions;

* File closing and managing deed storage;

* Making and receiving telephone calls, and dealing with basic telephone enquiries;

Although this client is working from home currently there will be an expectation of office working once they deem it safe to go back to work, there could be the opportunity for a flexible day at home but will depend on the manager and workload.
