This company has gone from strength to strength since its founding in the 1930's, starting as a small family business they now employ over 150 specialist engineers and play a huge part in UK aerospace manufacturing. They have recently invested massive amounts in new sites, allowing them to continue to lead the way in their industry. As such they are in the position to take on a well rounded manufacturing engineer to play a key role in overseeing and improving the manufacturing process to ensure it meets client's needs.
This is a hugely varied role serving a range of high value clients across the UK. Although this is an engineering role the majority of time spent will be off the tools interpreting and creating 3d & 2d models using Solidworks and assisting the quality team develop the manufacturing processes to ensure the companies increasingly high standards are maintained.
The ideal candidate is someone from a mechanical engineering background with working knowledge of CAD (Solidworks) and well-rounded understanding of manufacturing and machining techniques.

* Manufacturing engineer (aerospace)
* Monday to Friday days based role

* Interpreting and creating 2D & 3D models
* Leading manufacturing team to ensure projects are completed to company standards
* Significant experience in mechanical manufacturing industry
* Machining experience (multi axis milling, turning and grinding)
* Working knowledge of Solidworks
* Knowledge of quality principles (PPAP, FAIR)
