Do you have experience supporting KS2 primary aged children with Literacy/Numeracy?

If you have experience tutoring or working within a classroom environment and focusing on improving ability and understand in Literacy and or Numeracy, a partner school in the Heywood area OL10, Rochdale could have the ideal role for you in September 2021.

2x Full time position from 6th September 2021 for the full academic year
Specifically focused on supporting children in KS2 with Literacy and Numeracy
Well facilitated and welcoming Primary school in Heywood with accessible transport links to Bury, Rochdale and Middleton
Intervention focus to improve ability and attainment and mitigate the loss from Covid

Situated in Heywood and close to Bury and the M66 for Lancashire, this is a larger than average Primary school with great facilities and extremely supportive staff. This position is full time and the school are looking to employ 2x suitable individuals on a long term basis for the academic year 2021/22 to raise attainment in Literacy and Numeracy. Previous experience of this within KS2, as a tutor or a teaching assistant/intervention specialist is a desire of the school. You will report to a member of the leadership team and SENCO as well as co-ordinating with class teachers, with the aim of mitigating the loss of learning from school closures and boost attainment and confidence ahead of SATS in the summer of 2022.

The school offers on-site secure and gated parking to all staff and has recently undergone modernisation and a new build, boasting excellent facilities throughout.
