Head of DevOps - AWS / Engineering - £80-85K - EC4

A leading global technology communications company have an immediate vacancy for a Head of DevOps. The ideal candidate will have a blend of managerial / team management experience, a strong skill set in DevOps Practices and AWS cloud experience (including migrations from legacy systems).

This role will get a chance to work with some of the most exciting and progressive projects and join a company where interesting technologies are being implemented.

Suitable candidates should demonstrate of the following:

***5+ years' experience in a Senior DevOps engineer / Lead or Management position

***IT Team management experience

***Strong skills with large-scale distributed Linux systems

***Demonstratable legacy migration experience

***Experience with building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines
***Excellent communication

***Skills with modern database systems (MySQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB);

***Solid Experience of configuration and orchestration tools (Puppet, Kubernetes, Terraform)

***Service monitoring (SNMP, Shinken/Nagios)
