Working with some of the biggest names within FMCG, this organisation provides data and insights to allow their clients to extract real business information, and truly understand the needs of their consumers.
As Account Manager, you will play a leading role in delivering the engagement and retention of this organisations existing client base. Assisting the Accounts team to achieve commercial targets by renewing, upselling and on-selling products and services. The role of the Account Manager is to develop strong client relationships, to help clients better understand their brands and in turn improve business performance.
1. Renewing annual contracts
2. Ensuring client are making full use of their account, assisting them with insight briefs
3. On-boarding new clients
4. Account managing the assigned client portfolio, including Engagement & Retention plans
5. Developing relationships with all key clients
6. Upselling relevant additional features and services to clients
7. Growing client value by selling to further departments
8. Understanding the client's business and commercial priorities, to look for opportunities where you can assist them to help them achieve their goals.
1. Direct experience working within FMCG
2. The ideal candidate will be from a Category Management, Account Manager or Insights based role
3. Solid understanding of NPD within a manufacturing or retail environment
4. Experienced and enthusiastic presenter, proficient in communicating at all levels of seniority
5. Can confidently translate client briefs into consumer questions, and results into conclusions
6. Excellent at building and developing relationships
7. This is a home based position but in the future may involve travel to meet clients face to face, a car and a clean driving license would be advantageous.
