Are you currently a Support Engineer for a Managed Service Provider or working in an internal IT department providing a high level of remote or onsite support and looking to progress your career.

Elite Group is on the lookout for an experienced Support Engineer to join our team and be the first point of contact for our Hosted Desktop customers.

As our Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our Cloud and Hosted Desktop customers. Working with applications and systems to log, diagnose and resolve any issues reported. You will provide high-class technical support and excellent customer service.

As part of this role, you will be required to travel to customer sites from time to time to investigate and resolve issues. This may be more than once a week. A pool vehicle will be provided for this travel.
Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to work from our offices, although after completion of training we can review occasional working from home.

There will be out of hours work with this role to provide additional support cover for customers which works on a rota basis. There is an on-call allowance that is paid should you enter onto the on-call rota.

We are looking for someone who has a good level of experience in a wide variety of tech, systems, IT disciplines and desktop configuration.

To be successful in this role, you will need good technical knowledge of:

* Remote desktop and/or Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop/WVD
* Windows server 2012, 2016 and 2019
* Active directory including group policy and profiles/Fslogix
* SQL Server, exchange service
* Microsoft office including O365

With good general knowledge in:

* TCP/IP & Routing
* Firewalls and VPN's
* Broadband and Leased Line technologies
* Network troubleshooting
* Knowledge and experience of server virtualisation technologies, VMware or Hyper-V is preferred.

You must have a driving licence to be able to travel to customer sites and successfully complete this role.
