TEC Partners are working with growing Life Sciences company based in the centre of Cambridge who are breaking new ground with their innovative scientific software. This position offers the opportunity to join and help to drive an ambitious and individual company who offer a driven, collaborative, and interactive work place whilst working with you individually to help with your future progression within the business.

They are looking for an enthusiastic Engineer, with professional experience in Web Development, to help build their state-of-the-art tool for Data Analysis and drug Design within the pharma sector.

This role will involve end-to-end development across the full-stack, including DevOps, Architecture, Product Specification and more, so it is an opportunity with an abundance of opportunity for exposure to new technology and experiences.

The office is based in central Cambridge, however they are currently all working remotely with ad-hoc days in the office. This will be the case for the rest of the year, but is likely to change long term with the opportunity to still work partially from home if needed.

Responsibilities for this role:

Full-Stack development using Python/Django/GraphQL/VueJS (JavaScript and TypeScript)
Contribution the planning and architecture of their software
Elements of leadership and mentorship of others
Communication of concepts to high-level/stakeholders etc.Technical requirements for this position:

3+ years' industry experience of Web Development
Experience of Product Development using Python (Django) with Celery, JavaScripts and modern frontend frameworks (VueJS, React, Angular)
Commercial knowledge and practice of Linux, Docker, AWS
Educated to Degree level in Computer Science or equivalentExperience which would be benefitial:

Interest or experience in Chemistry
Knowledge/previous use of GraphQL, ideally Django/Graphene and/or Apollo JS
Microservice architecture experience
