Marketing Administrator - 9 month contract
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to support the Marketing, Buying and Merchandising functions of this busy department based at their head office in Stevenage.

The Marketing Administrator role supports the key day-to-day processes of the entire department; especially administrative support, maintaining product and supplier information, campaign planning and marketing sign-offs. The role ensures processes are completed accurately and on time and always with an eye for continuous improvement.
It is essential that you come from a marketing backgroundand have a keen interest in digital marketing
You MUST have your own lap top/Computer as after the initial training period it will be highly likely you will be working remotely initially.
Secretarial and administrative support for the department - especially the Director and the Buyers (diary management, holiday booking, meeting agendas and minutes, travel booking, expense claims).
Organising samples for buyers or marketing.
Setting up and maintaining product, offer and price information on product databases.
Pulling together product information needed within the department (e.g. for marketing briefs, case notes, List production).
Ensuring products, prices and offers are accurately signed off in marketing collateral.
Supporting effective marketing campaign planning - preparing and tracking project schedules, chasing information needed across the department.
Supporting the bottle photography process and image sourcing and storage. Providing simple photography when needed.
Providing resolutions to simple member queries.
Supporting the maintenance of the buying supplier database and submissions for external certifications e.g. Organic registrations
Providing cover or support for the Quality Controller and Operations Coordinator and the Marketing Production Coordinator.
Ad hoc support on buying, merchandising or marketing projects, as needed by the Head of Operations.
Previous Experience as a Marketing Assistant/Administrator
Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) skills
Strong attention to detail, accurate and thorough
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to influence colleagues
Ability to multi-task, working to tight deadlines, delivering to the highest standard
Effective at planning and prioritising workload
Understanding of website/digital processes, image storage, traffic management
Exceptional organizational skills
Previous experience of database software
Hours 9am - 5pm
23 days holiday rising to 30 with length of service (plus 8 Bank Holidays)
