We are recruiting for a leading UK Manufacturing and Exporting company, the site is based in Bardney, Lincoln. Due to an ongoing large project installing new control equipment at the Bardney site, they are looking to recruit two motivated, enthusiastic Electricians who are able to work under their own initiative and work well as part of a team.

Contract approx. 12 months - salary will be paid per hour weekly in arrears

Salary £32k per annum

Hours will be 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday - Friday - extra hours and weekends maybe required during this time frame.

The ideal candidate must have:

Electrical qualification in conjunction with being apprentice trained.

Conversant in IEE 17th Edition wiring regulations

Current MEWP licence with at least 9 months left on it.

Current FLT licence would be of a benefit but not essential.

General duties:

To perform effective hands-on electrical project work in a manner that upholds the quality of the operation, focussing on safety, output, cost effectiveness and improvement of the site.

This role will require a good knowledge and experience of cable tray installing and cable pulling and installing.

Be able to read, understand and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Previous experience of panel building to a high standard is a must.

To ensure that all electrical components, site machinery and regulations are kept up to date and in order.

When necessary able to work hands on, leading by example.

Be able to work to a structured project plan and meet deadlines.

Installation and maintenance of electrical systems, and related ancillary equipment.

Work with the team to develop the teams and ones own capabilities, driving cross training to better working practices and continuously improve capabilities and effectiveness.

Add value and contribute toward improvements in buildings, plant and equipment reliability.

Ensuring Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements/procedures are observed at all times.

Potential travel to other work sites within the company to assist in projects.

Have strong customer service and communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels.

Have at least 3 years' experience of working in industrial manufacturing as an electrician
