One of the most successful engineering consultancies in the North West has an exciting new opportunity for a Civil CAD Technician to join their highways team on a permanent basis.
They have been appointed a numerous number of contracts by various local authorities in the North West, so workload is interesting and varied. You can also expect to get involved in larger residential development projects working as part of the wider civil engineering team.
Alongside working with Chartered professionals, there is an excellent career progression route, with many Senior- Director level employees starting out at graduate level.
Working as a Civil CAD Technician you will be:
-Overall you will be helping to deliver projects for public and private sector clients as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team
-Preparing highway feasibility drawings
-Preparing detailed drawings
-Preparing contract documents /specifications
Essential skills/ qualifications for this Civil CAD Technician role:
-You must have working knowledge of DMRB and current relevant design standards/codes is essential
-You must already have a number of years' experience in a similar role (highways experience is essential)
-You will have a minimum of a HNC in civil engineering
-Strong communication skills, written and verbal and able to work well as part of a team
