Job Details

We are looking for a self-motivated, inspiring and experienced Lottery Manager to join the fundraising team. You will be based at our Long Ashton office, with home working available.

You will oversee the running of the Hospice's Local Lotto weekly draw and two annual raffles with the support of the Lottery Administrator. Accountable for an income budget of £400K, you will be responsible for driving the development of the Local Lotto, recruiting new members and developing a stewardship programme.

You will be responsible for:

Making sure all gambling activities are compliant with the Gambling Commission and other regulatory requirements.
Providing leadership and support to the Lottery Administrator
Developing a stewardship programme to increase retention of players
The acquisition of new lottery players
An income budget of over £400K per year
Working with the marketing team to develop a new lottery brand proposition
Planning and executing the annual raffles
Working with third party providers to deliver successful recruitment campaigns
Liaising with our marketing team to create exciting and engaging marketing plans
Building key internal relationships with your colleagues in the fundraising, marketing and retail team

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working within a charity lottery team and knowledge of gambling legislation.

Some flexibility to work outside regular working hours will be occasionally required supporting St Peter's Hospice activities.

Salary band: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience, working hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Flexible working will be considered, minimum of 30 hours per week. As part of the role you will be expected to work Fridays.
