Have you got what it takes to raise money that will change the lives of LGBTQ+ people? You could be our new Prospect Researcher.
Founded in London in 1989, Stonewall now works in each nation of the UK and has established partnerships across the globe. We help create transformative change in the lives of LGBTQ+ people through our campaigns, research and change and empowerment programmes. We continue to fight for a world where LGBTQ+ people everywhere can live their lives to the full.
As a charity we rely on the generosity of private individuals, communities and organisations. Without it, none of what we do would be possible. Join us as our Prospect Researcher and play an important role in our fundraising team's work, raising vital funds so that we can continue to support LGBTQ+ people throughout the UK and worldwide.
Reporting to the Head of Grants you'll focus on identifying new grants, corporate partners, and high net-worth individuals who align with our principles and may want to support Stonewall. You will be involved in all aspects of researching new funders, working with the Grants, Corporate Partnerships, and Ambassadors teams at Stonewall to maintain a pipeline of prospective donors and match them with the organisation's funding needs. As the Prospect Researcher, you will be responsible for keeping up to date with funding trends in the sector, working with teams across the organisation to identify funding priorities, and preparing briefings to fundraising colleagues and the organisation's senior leadership team on new prospective funders.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skillset and step up as an ally and role model. It's a varied role in a dynamic environment so you'll need to be fully up to speed with the work of Stonewall across all our different teams.
