A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Deputy Programme Manager x 2 for a membership organisation based in London in order to assist the programme manager with the management and development of the audit programmes, research/evaluation projects or multi-source feedback systems. This will be a temporary contract for 2-5 months, could be extended.Please apply ASAP! Key Responsibilities will include: To deputise in the absence of the Programme Manager.supervise the project staff and assist in managing the teams' workload.Assist in developing and delivering project plans to ensure that individual projects meet their objectives and deadlines.To help in managing all aspects of the project(s), which may include:-Developing sampling methods and data collection tools-Collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative data from participating services developing methods and tools to enable measurement of performance against standards;-Producing local and national reports-Planning and delivering events e.g. learning events, workshops.Assist in managing promotion and marketing to ensure continued growth of the projects.Assist in the quality assurance process for the project against agreed standards, including the timeliness and quality of reports and meeting of deadlines.Manage the day to day financial administration for the project (e.g. invoicing and expenses) and assist the Programme Manager with the budget management and monthly forecasts.Assist in preparing and delivering workshops and presentations.Oversee production of a range of other project materials such as guidance documents, papers for publication and newsletters as required.Supervise and assist with compilation, management and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data submitted by participant organisations.Contribute to design of interventions to assist in implementation of recommendations.Develop and maintain effective data management systems. In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience: Experience of working with public sector servicesExperience of report writing and editingWell-organised with ability to prioritise own workload and that of others.Experience of planning and delivering training/workshopsExperience of managing large electronic databases and controlling data quality.Confident user of SPSS or equivalent statistical package.Knowledge of project management and research methodologies.Excellent skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Office365) and internet use.
