This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to get some major donor experience by working closely with the Head of Philanthropy to help with delivery of the capital appeal. Providing invaluable support with research, database management, high profile events and bespoke communications with HNWI and prospects.
The QEF Engagement and Partnerships (E&P) team is based at Leatherhead Court, but with the introduction of a new flexible working programme there will be an opportunity for the successful candidate to work from home as well. The E&P team raise money to support all QEF services and the activities of the Group, through a combination of individual giving campaigns, events, trust applications, community, corporate support and major gifts.
It is a very exciting time to join QEF. Having launched a major appeal in November 2019 we have successfully surpassed our first year target despite the pandemic. The £2.7m Edward Guinness Appeal was formed to raise the costs of the build of the new £15m Care and Rehabilitation Centre, QEF's largest ever investment in its facilities. In the 19/20 FY Major Donor income increased by 87%, to over £500,000 in one year. We have implemented an ambitious plan to meet the growing demands of our high-profile events programme to reach our £1.2m year 2 appeal target - we now need a likeminded individual drive this growth for the future. If you are successful, you will be working closely with the Head of Philanthropy to develop new ideas on how to best nurture the supporters we have now and how we can introduce new HNWIs to the work of the=is wonderful charity. You will be involved in all aspects of major donor fundraising as well as researching and writing persuasive proposals and communications to major donors and prospects. There will also be scope to develop event management skills assisting with the implementation and delivery of a series of major donor events.
