Maggie's Partnerships Team is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Lead to join our ambitious and friendly team, who is excited about the opportunity to identify, win and deliver new corporate partnerships for Maggie's. The Corporate Partnerships Lead is a key role in a team of three, including another Corporate Partnerships Lead and an Account Manager.
The role is responsible for driving significant income growth from corporate partnerships, by taking Maggie's national partnership proposition to big businesses to meet ambitious but achievable targets.
The priority focus of this role is new business. The postholder will be someone who thrives on creativity and proactive cultivation, drawing upon their track record of winning large-scale partnerships to deliver high levels of outbound approaches and business development activity.
This role is all about putting Maggie's on the map with major employers and brands, and you will need to be comfortable and confident in engaging with predominantly cold contacts and love the thrill of building a pipeline of relationships and partnerships from scratch.
The Partnership Development Lead will also be required to set up and deliver key partnerships with support from the other members of the Corporate Partnerships Team and Centre Fundraising Teams.
Reporting into the Head of Fundraising and working closely with key staff across Maggie's, the post-holder will focus on driving corporate income growth from large multi-site partners, major national employers and brands, positioning Maggie's as a compelling cause for staff and customer fundraising - and as a provider of expert cancer support to employees and employers.
The post holder will also support Centre Fundraisers to grow partnership income from companies of all sizes and will assist in the development of engagement initiatives to cultivate new and existing supporters.
Attention to detail, strong communications skills and excellent numeracy skills alongside a positive and friendly approach will be essential.
Given the nature of this role we are able to consider candidates from various locations in Southern England. Regular travel to London will be essential.
