The vision of the charity is that every child and young person in the country has a safe and happy childhood. The message is simple, yet so important. Action for Children protect and support children and young people. They do this by providing practical and emotional care and support. They make sure their voices are heard and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives.
During the last year and a half, the frontline workers have been a vital lifeline for more than 20,000 children supporting them with basic essentials but there are so many more who are in need. The successful candidate will pay a pivotal role in reaching more children that need the help.
The charity is the largest children's social care charity in the country and the work they do has a positive impact on so many children and young people.
