Your new role
Reporting direct to the FD, you will be responsible on a day-today basis for all aspects of the Finance function. You will pull together the monthly management accounts and management information pack with variance analysis.
You be responsible for managing & training a small Finance team - this is an important aspect of the job.
This role, which is registered exclusively with Hays Senior Finance, is a wonderful opportunity to join a highly successful business and offers great long term prospects.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
You will need to have proven managerial experience and enjoy developing staff.
You should have experience of working for a medium or large company where you have had to produce accurate financial information to tight reporting deadlines. You will look at ways to improve existing processes, procedures & systems.
At the same time you should have an empathy for the SME sector and be prepared to be hands-on in the role. You will have a friendly, professional manner and be able to develop great relationships across a business.
You should have strong IT skills: advanced Excel is necessary and any experience of an ERP system would be highly advantageous.
