A leading independent accountancy practice with multiple offices across the North West seek an Accounts and Audit semi senior to join their fast paced team in Preston. The firm and looking to appoint an experienced individual to work with a broad and varied client base.
Your new role
As a semi senior you will be responsible for assisting with accounting and audit assignments. Your duties will include preparing year end accounts for manager's review undertaking audit fieldwork on client site and ad hoc bookkeeping and VAT work. You will work with a broad range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, groups and charities. This role will be more focused towards preparation of accounts and the majority of audit assignments will be local.
What you'll need to succeed
The directors are looking to appoint an individual that has past experience working in a practice environment preparing accounts to review, some experience with audit would be preferable. The partners will consider applicants who are either QBE, AAT qualified or ACCA / ACA part qualified. To be successful in your application you will be able to demonstrate good communication skills and a desire to develop your skill set.
