Our client is a private-equity backed, European healthcare group. They have 200 sites across Europe and are now looking to penetrate the UK market. They currently have 25 sites in the UK and have ambitious plans to increase this to 100+ over the next 2 to 3 years.
The ideal candidate will be a practice-trained ACA / ACCA with 3-6 years experience as a Financial Controller. You will have strong financial accounting and tax background including good knowledge of accounting standards (preferably IFRS).
Reporting to the CFO, your main focus will be ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the financial administration and preparing the monthly reporting. You will have 1 report in the UK and the rest of the team based in India.
- Timely month-end/year-end reporting
- Review of General Ledger
- Develop financial reporting and dashboards
- Ensure compliance with tax and other regulatory requirements
- Support the CFO in strategic business analysis
You will also have strong systems / business information / data skills and strong excel.
Experience of working in a multi-site, healthcare / dentistry provider and exposure to private-equity would be beneficial.
