1st Line Support Engineer

Our client is looking for a 1st Line Support Engineer with a positive, can-do attitude, as well as an appetite to grow their skills, to join their team based in Walton-On-Thames, on a permanent basis. The 1st Line Support Engineer will have an awareness of ITIL, good customer service skills as well as some previous technical experience.

The role will be covering Monday - Friday, 9am-5:30pm and you will act as a point of contact for our client's customers. You will be able to work remotely given the national restrictions, with a view to working in the office once the restrictions are eased.

1st Line Support Engineer - Key Skills:
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems - ServiceNow highly desirable
  • 2:1 and above in a STEM degree OR 2 years + in a Managed Services role
  • Ability to work to strict timelines and providing a quick turn around when required
  • Technical, analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Broad awareness of IT Infrastructure
  • Have an ability to work in a team and independently
  • ITIL awareness
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have an enthusiasm and willingness to learn and a positive "can do" approach
  • Enjoy working from the office and customer sites
  • Like working in a friendly fast paced environment
  • Love to learn and work with exciting new technologies
