We are inviting applications for Relationship Manager with Commercial Banking experiences based in city London .
Responsible for writing applications for new proposals and managing existing portfolio of Loan Against Property Transactions
Area of Responsibility
Credit Application writing and Portfolio management:
Write application for new credit proposals sourced by Relationship Manager and present to Credit Committee/s for approval
Prepare credit approved Head of Terms in consultation with RM and send / communicate them to the borrower
Seeking quotation and appointing Legal and Valuation firms and maintaining panel, enrolment of new firms and annual renewal of Valuation firms
Review valuation report and prepare valuation summary for approval from Risk Management Group
Liaise with borrower, Solicitor, CMOG, COPS (disbursement) teams to ensure smooth disbursement of loan proposal
Coordinating with borrowers for timely submission of post disbursement covenant reports
Regular monitoring of loan accounts, asset quality reviews and timely flagging & communicating the deviations to Senior Management; collections and recovery.
To undertake projects and assignments from time to time as directed by Supervisor
Drive high value mortgage (including India home loan) business in the Indian diaspora being touched upon in UK during the course of the duty
Use effective marketing and sales promotional tools for raising the bank's profile in the target segment, which ultimately result in opening new business opportunities for the bank (including but not limited to arranging webinars with the help of Solicitors, Valuation firms, NACFB Brokers on relevant subject matter)
Key Skills and Knowledge Requirement
Sound knowledge and competency of property (all asset classes - residential, commercial, hotels, retail) / asset backed loans
Skilled to understand property valuation, quality and marketability of properties in UK
Credit Note writing and Credit Assessment skills (including financials, cashflows etc.)
Lending experience in the Mortgages / Business / Commercial Banking Segment (secured lending)
Strong analytical and presentation skills; ability to communicate with all levels in the organisation
Disciplined approach to deal execution & follow ups.
Self-motivated and self-driven
Good interpersonal skills and team player
