Chief Technology Officer
Location: Midlands/Remote
Salary Range: £250,000 PA

Overview of Role
As the Chief Technology Officer you will be leading the development of progressive & new a Robotics and Industry 4.0 consultancy. You will be leading robotic strategies making executive technology decisions on behalf of the organisation including managing a technology budget and making the necessary investments to align the organisation with its vision for its technological needs.

My client are interested to speak to candidates who are innovators and disrupters who have specific experience in the Robotics and Industry 4.0 space.

You will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions impacting current and future operations. As the CTO, you will oversee all technology and technological resources, establish the technology vision, strategies, and growth plans.

*Providing technical leadership at the enterprise level and serve an integral role in operations and business development
*Developing objectives and strategies for the implementation of innovative solutions while optimising existing systems, applications, and information
*Making recommendations and present business advantages for technology initiatives and improvements
*Leading your team in identifying, comparing, selecting, and implementing technology solutions and partnerships to meet current and future needs
*Tracking and controlling the developments of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and technology operations
*Designing and leading the implementation of our strategy for technology while ensuring the implementation and enforcement of technology standards across the organisation
*Advocating and communicating technology capabilities internally and externally, including leadership, Utilities Board, customers, partners, and vendors
*Sharing information and developing a collective understanding of programs and issues.
*Structuring technology policies, procedures, and standards to ensure organisational success.

About You
*Master's degree or Ph.D. in a Technology or Engineering, and be a recognised expert (or equivalent experience)
*Minimum of 10 years of experience
*Prior technical roles within organisations of similar size and scope with growing duties and responsibilities
*Significant experience supporting capture activities to include chairing/participating in Business Opportunity Gate Reviews, writing specific sections of proposals, providing preliminary technical guidance for solutions, and task cost estimation
*A well-developed sense of strategy and the ability to communicate and inspire others to follow Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
