This is a full time, permanent position.

Our client, a respected and successful waste management company, requires a Credit Controller to be involved in all aspects of credit control. You will be part of a team of 3 reporting to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities would be:

• Nominated ledger of customers to be managed within their payment terms
• Liaising with customers and monitoring customer accounts
• Working with Sage accounting computer software package
• Filing and document management
• Undertaking small projects
• Setting up of new customers
• Ensuring all invoice queries are resolved sufficiently within the required timescale
• Answering phones in a professional/helpful manner and handling payment requests/queries/enquiries
• Various ad-hoc tasks as deemed necessary

Special Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Sage accounting software (experience preferred but not essential)
• Ability to manage own workload effectively/efficiently
• Professional/effective written and verbal communication skills
• Good organisational skills and with the ability to problem solve/plan/prioritise workload
• Ability to work to strict deadlines

Additional Information:

• £24,000 - £26,000 (D.O.E.) per annum
• Hours of Work : 8.30am - 5pm (half hour for lunch)
