My client based in Northampton is currently seeking a 2nd line support engineer for a 6 moth fixed term contract. This is an amazing opportunity to work with one of the most famous household names.
Responsibilities & Duties
Support and deliver technical solutions throughout all stages of the ITIL service life cycle
Deliver on operational and project-based tasks, against demanding Service Level Agreements and challenging deadlines
Exceed customer expectations whilst offering additional support and guidance to fellow Service Desk team members
Develop successful relationships both within the team and with 3rd parties
Own tasks from the request being raised until a satisfactory resolution has been met and agreed by the customer
Identify enhancements to IT services, processes and procedures, and by doing so, improving quality, reliability, availability, security and performance across.Essential skills and experience
2-3 years of experience within a second-line technical product or service focused support role
The ability to understand and support the basics of networking, laptop/desktop, printers and mobile technology including Windows 7, IOS, LN, MS Office, SAP, SEP, VPN, others
Strong communication, and in particular skills in being able to explain technical problems in a way that is easily accessible to all people.
Who displays flexibility, determination and adaptability to collaborate to build relationships across the business.
Ability to understand software packages and related processes, to evaluate them regarding any area and to ensure their implementation
