We are partnered with a Top 50 Chartered Accountancy who due to growth are recruiting for an exciting new addition for a Payroll Operations Manager to join them and oversee a busy payroll department.
This organisation have strong presence throughout the South West and this role can be based at one of their many offices, with flexibility to work remotely too.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Overseeing the payroll function Hands on processing of a portfolio of complex clients payrolls Working closely with the Payroll Manager Management and planning of absence and sickness within the payroll team Leading on 1:1s and appraisals Overseeing staffing requirements and assisting with recruitment for the payroll department Ensure deadlines and SLAs are metIn order to be successful you will have:
Strong Payroll Manager experience, ideally in a bureau/chartered accountancy Strong people management experience CIPP qualified is desirable
