In a Nutshell:

As our HR Administration Assistant, you will ensure the lifecycle of employees is efficiently and accurately administered using SelectHR & Zellis software. You will also assist in all areas of administration where required by HR and Payroll.

What we would like from you:

Key Responsibilities -

Ongoing maintenance of SelectHR software ensuring all details are consistent with Company
Pro-actively ensuring all required background posts and working patterns are present and
correct
Actively liaise with our HR colleagues to ensure all details are accurate and that job offers
comply with the Company specifications
Ensure all administration for new starters to the business, from selection to return of completed documentation is accurate and processed
Ensure relevant, accurate, updated welcome email with contact details & key information
is sent to every starter.
Create appropriate user type in self service
Communicate new starter details to relevant Departments, IT, Fleet, Expenses, Home to Workplace requirement
Ensure General Notice is sent to all employees as part of the joiner workflow etc.
Ensure every joiner process is completed in time for attachment to relevant Monthly or
Weekly Payroll
Actively liaise with our HR colleagues to ensure the leaver communication is accurate and
complies with Company and legislative requirements
Calculation of annual leave balance due for payment or deduction
Notify Payroll of leavers currently on Long Term Sickness for adjustment in final payment
Notify relevant HRA/BP of employee departure and reason to ensure support to Line Manager affected
Liaise with Fleet, IT, Expenses etc. re departing employee, sending all relevant notifications to appropriate departments
Ensure every leaver process is completed in time for relevant payroll deadline
Liaise with HRA's & BP's re all employee changes or amendments, including and not limited
to: promotions, demotions, working pattern, Bonus, department, job title, line manager,
location, region, salary, probation extension etc.
Ensure appropriate authorisation of all employee changes are in place as per Company
requirements
Any other duties requiredCompetencies -

The ability to manage own workload, ensuring all deadlines are met
An eye for detail, accuracy and the ability to pro-actively problem solve is key.
Have excellent communication skills, both on the Skype and via e-mail
Motivated and forward thinking
Be organised, flexible, adaptable and somebody who can work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
A minimum of 2 years previous experience in a HR environment
Ideally would have experience of SelectHR/SelectPay software or package of similar nature such as SelectHR and SelectPay
