Job Details

Front End Developer urgently needed for a digital consultancy working on complex and seriously interesting projects with some of the UK's biggest household names!

You're new role:
You'll be joining a team of 10 proud, pixel perfectionists, where you will take a methodical and detail driven approach to your code. You will be required to think 'outside of the box', hence the need for handwritten code, to be able to deliver on innovative client projects. You will take design and turn them into precision led, compliant and Semantic HTML.
Aside from that, you will take part in peer reviews and will, at times, be client facing. As such we are looking for strong communication skills and a professional manner.

Obviously you'll be Front End Engineer who's experienced with HTML5 / CSS, JavaScript and JQuery but what's really important here is a passion for clean, handwritten code (no off the shelf themes here, thank you) and if you also happen to be a bit of a perfectionist, you'll fit right in! These guys are operating within heavily regulated spaces on a range of seriously complex builds so you should most definitely have an eye for detail and an appreciation for user centred design.
Any framework (React/Angular/Ionic) and back-end (specifically PHP or Node) experience would have you ticking aaaall the boxes as would a desire to learn them!

The Organisation:

This design and build consultancy has been driven by growth, having gone from strength to strength in what has been an incredibly tough market. This is an organisation who will both challenge you and give you the platform to engineer your own future, offering a personal development budget and the space to grow!
They are working with some of the UK's biggest household names across a range of industries (med tech, fin tech, travel) so no two projects will be the same. You will have the opportunity to put your own stamp on these brands!

Salary & Location:
The salary is pretty flexible for the right person, but that doesn't help you, so roughly speaking anything between £40,000 - £50,000, but the right person might be slightly more expensive but ticking every box.

Location - well, from home just now. Going forward, this role will be remote with the very occasional commute to their Manchester office.
