Job Overview

Join our development team based in our Brighton office where you will be managing a multiple range of complex building intelligence and access development projects. You will work closely with management to plan resource across the projects ensuring we maximise delivering on time and budget. The is a fantastic opportunity for someone that has experience working on Software and or Change Management projects to lead and mentor Project Planners, and work on state-of-the-art technology.

Job role

Work with various stakeholders across the business to create and build new products, ensuring that their tasks and activities are co-ordinated effectively to meet with the project deadlines.
Monitor and report on schedule progress with and any deviations to progress with all stakeholders involved in the project.
Monitor critical path(s) of the schedule to identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation or recovery plans.
Identify key resource requirements and timescales required for projects and work with the Delivery & Resource Manager to assign a team to deliver against agreed timescales.
Work with Product Management and Principal Engineers to prepare a project work breakdown structure to plan and schedule the project deliverables.
Input and manage any identified project risks or issues and capture ongoing management of these issues through the RAID log.
Manage and maintain budgets, reporting updates monthly, managing project spend and raising any alerts if variations with suggested mitigation measures. Requirements

Solid project management experience working on Software project or Change Management projects
Ability to establish and meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritise without the requirement for regular direct supervision.
A thorough understanding and some experience of planning techniques - for example, the application of critical path analysis, work breakdown structures etc.
The ability to interpret the requirements of projects and to effectively apply the correct processes and tools to ensure their effective delivery.
Excellent verbal and written communication to be able to effectively interact with range of technical and non-technical colleagues
