Our client, a leading application provider within the workflow, asset and building management industry, have an excellent opportunity for an IT Support Engineer on a full-time permanent basis. You will be a self-motivated, methodical, and goal-oriented individual who can adapt to changing priorities. You will also have a passion for IT with solid experience supporting and maintaining all IT communications and office infrastructure systems and services.
Salary: Up to £25k per annum plus benefits
This role is responsible for all IT communications and office infrastructure systems and services maintenance. You will act as the technical lead for all software and cloud-based services used by the group. This role will involve IT support for servers, desktops, laptops, and other associated IT equipment including telecommunication systems and hardware and you will be reporting into the Technical Services Manager.
Our ideal applicant will have/be;
SharePoint administration experience
Network Administration, including DNS, VPNs, Firewalls, switches and routers.
Systems architecture mapping and change
IT Project Management and process
Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Server 2008 / 2012/2016, Windows 7 and 10, Intune administration, VMware ESXi and Veeam
Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Solid process discipline and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Positive and resilient attitude with a high level of self-motivation.
Solid problem-solving ability.
