1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant

I am currently working with a Special Needs Primary School who are looking for 1:1 support to start in September. The role will involve working closely with a child in KS2 who has severe ASD. The school educate children who have severe complex needs such as ASD, SEMH, physical needs, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, specific communication and learning needs, visual impairment, and hearing impairment. Those with a combination of complex medical conditions and sensory level autism may also attend this site.

The successful candidate will have a calm and warm demeanour, will be patient and will be able to adapt to any situation. You must have minimum 1 years experience working with children with complex needs to be considered for this role. The placement will be full time and will be for 1 year t least.

You must hold the relevant qualifications to work with children and a DBS on the update service is desired but if you do not have one, Colmore Education will apply for on for you.
