Social Media Manager, Remote (IT/Tech) - Remote/UK

£65k basic + bonus + stock options

My client, a digital start-up AI Software Builder is looking for a rockstar Social Media Manager who will help them increase their online exposure.

The business specialises in building, maintaining and running bespoke software for their customers, making it faster, more accessible and less expensive for everyone to bring their ideas to life.

Last year they secured $29.5m of funding to scale our growth in Europe. They already have three offices in LA, Delhi, and London and recently hit 250 employees globally. A key focus for them this year is to significantly grow their London operation.

What We're Looking For

Telling stories should be at the heart of everything you do in this role, while also being strategically focused on how our social media 'stories' drive impactful results for the business.

This role will be responsible for managing organic social media campaigns that target our core audience (i.e. small businesses, entrepreneurs, and enterprises).

You will work closely with the communications and the growth teams to ensure that our social media presence is witty, on-brand, and drives key results (i.e. digital engagement with content, referral traffic, leads). From creating monthly editorial calendars to using social marketing strategies to deliver our brand's message in creative ways, the Social Media Manager is the link between our business and our social media followers.

You also know how to customize social marketing strategies based on different social channels and goals. We're looking for someone who understands that social media marketing is more than just attracting new customers. It requires looking at the data to determine what campaigns/initiatives work best, what doesn't perform well and optimizing from there.

3-5 years of social media management experience

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field

Exceptional writer and storyteller (design experience is helpful)

Strong expertise in Google Analytics

Proficient using multi-social posting programs, such as Hootsuite and Sprout Social

Good understanding of key social advertising metrics (ROAS, CPA, CPC, etc.)

Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique social campaigns to capture their attention
